Unity Hounds of the Meteor [v2024-06-27] [DogFactory]
.....the difficulty slider makes it so you can survive 2-3 hits at most......
What I mean is to increase the difficulty of the action porn scene instead of increasing the attack power of the enemy, for example, the animation scene does not automatically end, the player needs to manually press the button to break out, the player continues to lose HP and MP during the duration of the animation, and it becomes more and more difficult to break out as time goes by, until it becomes completely impossible to break out, also called hardcore mode. I think the game would be a lot more interesting if we added modes like this
Okay so what's up with this game difficulty am i doing something wrong? I pretty much turned the difficulty slider to like 1/4th of it, farmed a bit those 2 hunts that are available to me and bought like 3-4 suit upgrades and then I attempted that story scene where you go with Zeto to the set up meeting with drug dealers (pretty much beginning of the story or at least I think it is) and I'm getting absolutely destroyed by the boss here (the guy that you can defeat without jumping into suit that then transforms into a big monster). Like I'm doing maybe 1% of his HP with each hit meanwhile 1 combo of him instatly downs me or takes 3/4 of my hp. Like even if I'm terrible at the controls I wouldn't expect those values from basically 1st story fight at a pretty easy difficulty. What's up?

I tried convincing him that he´s a great and very talented Hentai Game developer but his opinion on himself is WAY too low . . . He said he struggles to keep up with any other Hentai Game Developers and so after making sure to finish Hounds of the Meteor he will stop creating Games . . .
Sigh . . . why do so many great Hentai Game Developers Give up or are forced to give up despite being awesome . . . ?

I think his main problem is more that he has zero self esteem!
He told me his Games are "terrible" and that he can´t keep up with the competition when the trurt is quite the contrary!
Inui is among the Top in terms of quality Hentai Games!

Please tell Inui he has the BEST hentai game. He should continue developing it, or make another similar game. Let him not compare himself with others. AGAIN. INUI, YOU ARE THE BEST DEVELOPER AMONG ALL THOSE WHO MAKE HENTAI GAMES!!! THE BEST FUCK!!!

i don't know... maybe comparing himself to some other creators.. or maybe he saw it from the amount of support that he get.. he might think that no one wants his game.. but this is maybe just my personal opinion..
i actually feel a bit at wrong here, i guess i should start supporting him for real.. to show at least some people out there is waiting for his game..

This is honestly my favourite ever hentai game and I hope he continues to develop this game adding more scenes and more and more branching paths. If he wants more support get him to create a proper pateron rather than using that Japanese site I (and presumably others) can't sign up to, or tell him to put the game on Steam.
If there is no saving him from himself then I hope he would atleast make the last update open source so the game can be modded and continued.
I have to say I'm close to giving up on this game because I can't seem to make it run properly no matter what I do. Altthough the installation and merging of different parts went fine now I've been stuck at the moment where Laki tries to inject something to the boss guy and no matter what I do the game freezes at this exact moment and i can't move further. I've tried changing the langauge to japanese/english old - doesn't help. It's so bizarre though. Like most people here, I haven't had any problems with launching this game, no need for a locale change, no admin, no special fiddling with files.....but so many are having problems.....is it, perhaps specific to (x64) (x86)? Or some other issue?

The product (or quality thereof) isn't going to change his mindset, only he can and it sounds like he won't be doing that anytime soon sadly.
Who knows, maybe the flood of praise that'll come with releasing a finished product and perhaps satisfaction in seeing people still downloading, playing and/or commenting on it months/years from now will positively impact him.
Collaborating with other devs could go either way, he's shown he has the means and skills required to make a solid game but I think he might quickly spiral into a whirlpool of "Collaborator B thinks I'm useless" or "Collaborator C is going to feel so let down" even if both have nothing but praise and excitement to be working with Inui.

Give me a bit of time to coordinate something.
I feel for Inu, one of the few creators I constantly make sure to download, haven't disliked a single one of their games yet. But yeah changing a mindset is hard especially if they are a perfectionist and Inu sounds like their a perfectionist (I don't mean this in a bad sense). But they wont see how good the overall game is because there's always something that could be better in their eyes, which mean the games they make don't drop in quality but Inu probably won't be satisfied either because of it.
This is a common feeling with creators of anything. You work hard on something and then, one day, you see someone else doing something equally, but in your eyes, it looks way better and it frustrates you. You push yourself to the limit and try so many different things, but it feels like you can't reach the other people with your abbilities. This is the frustration he feels. How do I know? Because I suffered from this as well when I tried to draw and it didn't worked. It felt like I didn't move on, but stuck on the spot. For some reason, and not adding Inui's bad health as well, this naws on him. I can actually understand him, but I'm unable to help him, since I don't know the answer myself.
But sometimes, it is rather more healthy to just walk away from what you do and get a clear head and get a better focus. But then you lose time and for him, this is unforgivable, not only because he uses this DLsite-Patreon-Thing for support. He doesn't want to let people down and give them the best quality for their money... it is a neverending vicious circle with no escape from it than... to quit and move away. That is what I did and I'm not very proud of it, because I wasted like that so much time and energy
I wish I could help him and tell that giving up is not the solution, but the opposite of it. But I also know that he won't listen, because he is stubborn when it comes to these things and won't listen once he made his opinion. But then again, if this is really his wish, if he really wants to quit the game making scene, maybe we should respect that. After all, if you pressure someone into a corner, that does not help either.
